About the Hispanic Latino Legal Issues Division
The Hispanic/Latino Legal Issues Division informs all attorneys that issues affecting Spanish-speaking persons cross all practice area lines. With the growing Hispanic/Latino population in North Carolina, all attorneys should become aware of the unique aspects of dealing with Hispanic/Latino clients. The Division serves as (1) a provider of information for attorneys less exposed to these issues, (2) a source of referrals to and for Spanish-speaking attorneys, and (3) a champion of the rights of Hispanic/Latino clients.
